Poster Contest for Trying New LAUSD Menu and Fresh Fruit On Friday
All day assemblies with poster winners announced, screenings of Nourish Life films, and distribution of La Cienega Farmers' Market gift certificates to contest winners.

La Cienega Farmers Market Food Inc. Screening
In honor of Food Day you are invited to please join a screening of the documentary Food Inc. for all classified staff members at Marvin Elementary on October 25th from 2:30 to 5:00 pm to be held in the auditorium.
There will be a catered reception as well as a pop-up art show of our Food Day student poster contest winners and photograph gifts by LOS (Lexicon of Sustainability). This event is made possible by the Model Neighborhood Program sponsored La Cienega Farmers' Market, and its community partnership with Participant Media. Please come and enjoy a free, delicious and healthy meal.
